Camper Information

If you are the parent of (or advocate for) a child that would be interested in CAMP!, please read through the following information carefully to help you understand eligibility and the application process.  Applicants must be currently enrolled in grades 2 through 7 (as of April 2024) in order to attend.

Campers will arrive on Sunday, August 11th and will depart on Saturday, August 17th.

The factors for determining camper eligibility are 1) financial need, 2) rural (geographic) isolation, 3) disruption of life and education due to frequent moves, and 4) family (parent or guardian) involved in agricultural work.  It is not necessary for applicants to meet all criteria.

There are two ways to apply, shown below.  Please also note the information on the camper fee below.

  1. Download and complete the camper application package – one per child – and then mail it to the address noted or email a scanned copy to campexclamationpoint@gmail.com.
  2. New for 2024: you may complete the bulk of the application package via this online form. If you do, each family must also complete one Application for Free and Reduced Meals (download in English or Spanish), and new camper applications must include a letter of introduction (see below).  These additional documents may be mailed or emailed to CAMP!

The application package includes:

  • Camper Application Form
  • Health Information Form
  • Application for Free and Reduced Meals (complete one per family)
  • First-year applicants must have a letter of introduction from a teacher or school counselor that answers the following questions:
    • How does this child qualify for this program, and how might they benefit from it?
    • What information can you give us to help us make this a positive experience for this child?
    • We have just one week to get to know him or her.  What can you tell us to help us match this child with the right counselors and activities?

There is a $30 per camper fee. If you have emailed your application, or submitted via the online form, you may pay the fee by making an online donation; please notify campexclamationpoint@gmail.com if you do so.

Our Teen Leadership Program is available to a limited number of former campers who are entering grades 9 and 10. Invitations to apply were sent in early March; if you believe you or your teen should receive one, please contact Scott Moore (see below).

If you have questions about the registration process, or about our camp in general, contact Scott Moore, Managing Director, by e-mail at campexclamationpoint@gmail.com, or by phone at 855-802-CAMP.
