We pride ourselves on our competent and caring staff who offer a multitude of programs and activities to our campers, while modeling kindness and cooperation. A broad range of experience, age and talent is represented on our staff. Artists, teachers, students, lawyers, legislators, carpenters, technicians, managers, parents and more bring their interests and love to share with campers. Each summer we look for a few new counselors, as well as staff for our waterfront, kitchen, and health center. Certified lifeguards, experienced kitchen workers, and Spanish-speaking individuals are especially in need. Applicants must be responsible, good communicators, able to work well on a team, and excited to be fully dedicated to ensuring a safe and fun experience for our campers.
CAMP! is a non-profit organization that operates solely on funds generated through grants and donations from individuals or community organizations. As a result, most camp staff positions are volunteer-based. Staff receive room, board, and a camp T-shirt for the time they are with us. Beyond that, our rewards come from knowing we have provided a week of summer camp to children whose families would otherwise be unable to afford to send them. CAMP! is an equal opportunity volunteer employer.
The CAMP! dates for staff are Friday, August 9th through Saturday, August 17th, 2024.
For our volunteers, camp will begin with staff training on Friday. Campers arrive on Sunday. We depart after clean-up the following Saturday. Volunteers are asked to be present for this entire period of time.
To apply, please download and complete the staff application, and e-mail/mail it to the address noted. When we receive your application we will be in touch with you by phone or e-mail to arrange a time to talk. At that time, we will go over more information about our program, the various positions we are looking to fill on staff, and how your skills and experience may fit into our camp family. We will also go over any other questions you, or we, may have.
If you have questions about the paperwork, or CAMP! in general, please contact Scott Moore by e-mail at campexclamationpoint@gmail.com, or by phone at 855-802-CAMP (2267).
We’ll look forward to speaking with you soon!
